The “Automatic Horizontal Test Tube Labelling Machine” designed by Justech Group was donated to Bacheng Hospital in Kunshan City after the internal testing on 21 April 2022. Liu Shasha, Deputy Mayor of Bacheng Town, Kunshan City, Bai Yuelei, General Manager of Kunshan Fixture Precision Industry Co., Ltd, and Kunshan ZZK Online Trading Co., Ltd, which both are the Subsidiaries of Justech Group, and Chen Fengying, Vice President of Bacheng Hospital attended the donation ceremony.
Nucleic acid testing is the first “weapon” to cut off the transmission chain of the epidemic as quickly as possible. Before nucleic acid sampling can be carried out, all sampling tubes need to be labelled with a unique barcode, which ensures the tubes could be identified. Previously, most of the nucleic acid sampling tubes were manually barcoded by the “Dabai”（the doactors and nurses in white protective suit who do the sampling job） before they were taken out from the hospitals’ material warehouse, which was time-consuming and labor-intensive.
As the main force for nucleic acid testing in the Bacheng region, Bacheng Hospital is responsible for more than 60 testing sites and nearly half of the nucleic acid testing work in the Bacheng region during peak testing periods. Before each testing task begins, the hospital often needs to gather many doctors and nurses together to label the testing tubes.
Justech Group focuses on the frontline for fighting the epidemic. After learning about the situation, Justech took the initiative to contact the government departments and, utilizing its R&D team and equipment, designed and developed a “Fully Automatic Horizontal Test Tube Labelling Machine” within just three days, which, on the basis of universality, can automatically feed labels, label the tubes, receive tubes labelled and do the counting.
The doctors and nurses from Bacheng Hospital showed great interest in the automated machine, which freed them from the menial task of labelling. Under their full attention, the engineers of Justech Group successfully completed the test and demonstration of the machine.
Fast, accurate, efficient and risk-reducing are the key functions of this equipment in the fight against the epidemic. Helping each other and working together is how Justech Group has been working in the fight against the epidemic.
